Anjali is an illustrator and writer from India. Clients include VOX, Apple News+, NPR, The Economist and Slate magazine. She creates pensive comics on her instagram page, @anjisdoodles. She has created animated lyric videos for musicians like Prateek Kuhad.

Likes include an occasional bag of sour candy, well written paragraphs, giant trees. Dislikes include brochures, pesto, certain cool tones, erasers.

Anjali holds an MFA in Illustration as a Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts, and a Bachelors in Design from Srishti University, Bangalore. She also spent a particularly scenic exchange semester in HSLU in Switzerland in 2019 which she can’t stop talking about.

She is currently based in Brooklyn, New York.
